Which jersey will Mutombo wear into the Hall of Fame?

Not sure but my guess would be Denver. We have him to thank for our two championships.

 

He goes in with Rockets red.

Because he wins his ring here.

I hope he chooses Rockets, after he wins big here.

We picked him up at supposedly the "end" of his career, we put faith in him right behind Yao as our #2 center.

And most of all, we LOVE him.

 

If he wins a ring here, he should. Lets hope we get to find out.

 

During the Post game interview he mentioned he wanted to see his jersey next to olajuwan's.... im guessing Houston

well nolan F'd us and went in with the rangers cause he had moer accomplishments in arlington (dispite only playing there for 5 years).... hopefully deke will follow this thought process.

 

I'm not totally sure you "wear a jersey" into the Basketball HOF.

 

whatever he wears... he will be shown in his Rocket uniform on nba.com...

i don't think you pick a jersey in the basketball HOF but if he was going to it would probably depend on how many rings he wins here.

 

I'm wondering if Deke might get a serious offer to start somewhere next year...I really think the man could average 28 m/g next year and lead the league in rebounding...

Let's see, Deke made himself a name while with that No.8 seed Nuggets that stunned the no.1 seed Sonics. Then he won a few defensive player award as a Hawks. Went to NBA finals once as a Sixers. Elbowed Yao in the throat as a Knicks. So far he accomplished very limited as a Rockets except moving into the second all time block list as a rocket!

Hmmm... most likely Deke will be introduced HOF either as a Nugget or Hawk, unless like other posters have mentioned, he won his championship as a rocket then .... who knows!

 

If Deke wins a ring here I think he'll go in as a Rocket. Perhaps even without a ring he will... he seems to really enjoy being here and he's been here 3 years (god, has it really been that long). If he doesn't win a title... I guess I'd see him going in as a Nugget.
