    Man, am I the only one who likes the Christmas music, the Christmas lights, and all of the holiday stuff that comes with it? I actually feel a little letdown after it's all over every year. Maybe I'm taking crazy pills or something.

    Maybe if I was getting some at a Christmas party, it would make my Christmas. No doubt it would be the greatest Christmas of my life. Living in Texas all of my life, I never had a white Christmas. I always wanted to have a white Christmas. Not having a white Christmas takes the fun out of Christmas. That could be why I am not feeling the holidays.

    Yeah, I can see that. A white Christmas would be really cool, although I don't think I could live up north where you'd have to deal with all the other things that come with it.

    A white christmas is overrated. It only makes traveling more difficult(and it is already crowded in the public transport.

    I have never been a fan of Christmas, however I am beginning to like christmas, because those are the days that i can relax, and spend some time with the family.

    However i HATE christmas Music, it is just to much. Why do the people of the radiio think i want to hear Mriah Carey, wham, etc 76 times a day? :eek:

    Well, that's many people here who don't feel the holiday's problem.. Bad christmas music..

    Any christmas song written before 1975 , performed by modern pop artists = crap.

    Equally, any holidays song written after 1975, listened to at all = bad holidays. and anti-mood setting. commercially influenced.

    It's just not true to the authentic traditional spirit. Which is what you really need to get into the holidays. IMO.

    No doubt. We immerse our kids in it as much as possible and they love it... but I'll admit that I love it also. I have not 'hung out' at the mall once...maybe that's the trick.


    But I do agree about the wham song. :)

    I think so. It is just as busy and crowded as the last time I was here which was 4 years ago. It is actually nicer since the tsunami actually cleaned the beaches so the sand is whiter.

    Your probably in a funk because you admit to watching American Idol...That's your problem...

    I love the holidays...Yeah, it can be crowded, and sometimes people like you are grouchy, but in the end, its a great time of year to be with family and friends...
