    we were expecting better rebounding numbers because we thought he would be playing the 4 almost exclusively. hasnt been the case this year, chuck hayes is grabbing all those boards for us :D

    Could anybody tell me why regular season has 82 games for each team and how NBA schedule those games?

    when there were 29 team in the league. 15 in east conference, 14 in west.

    each team in west conf had 4 games with each other, and 2 games with those in east conf. that's: 13*4+15*2 = 52+30 = 82.

    maybe that's why this comes.

    Actually there are 30 NBA teams now.

    Generally, 14*4+15*2 = 56+30 = 86. However, we will only play 3 games against these 4 Western teams: Denver, Seattle, Golden State and Sacramento. So 86-4 = 82.

    Don't know how they decide which team to play one less game though.
