    Wow, the day before the biggest game ever in this rivalry. RIP. He was one of those guys that represented everything good about college football and college sports in general.

    Great coach. He and Joe Paterno always embodied what college coaches should be like. Tough hardnosed guys instilling discipline and team values in college players.

    That's because we were 7 - 8 years old when he was coaching Michigan. Only these other real old-timers know who he is.
