I'm having problems with iTunes, so I downloaded Anapod the other day. It was the free version.

So now, I'm following the instructions on how to transfer a file and it's telling me to click, drag and drop the file into the Anapod Explorer. When I do this, it gives me the message of something like "only audio files can be transferred". Well, these files ARE audio files.

I tried doing it a different way and got another message saying the format was not right. These are just MP3's.

Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to upgrade to the pay version?

It won't open. I get an error message when I try to open it. I upgraded, thinking perhaps that was the problem, but I'm still getting an error message when I try to open it.

itunes is all kinds of ****ed up. I had given up on my sister's ipod a few weeks back. Today, she was leaving to Disney world and was pretty upset she wouldn't have her ipod to listen to. I decided to give it one more go...itunes was PMSing again...so I searched for alternatives, Anapod worked ****ing great.

ima: only thing I could think of would be that, the files may be WMA or something rather than MP3. The free version of Anapod is what I used today. The only thing was you had to transfer one song at a time.

Has anyone else had a problem with itunes erasing all of your file information?

A lot of my itunes music was transferred in from files I downloaded from Limewire. Well the other day I turned on my itunes to add some more and like 25% of my files were all categorized like unknown. The artist, album, and genre info just dissappeared and was replaced by unknown. Strangely enough the artist name now appears in front of the song name but all the other info says <unknown>. It is very upsetting because now I have to manually configure all 950 songs that were corrupted and put in the information AGAIN myself.

Has this happened to anyone? What can I do to make sure it doesnt happen again?
