First of all I dont really post on here but decided to see what all the true rox fans thought about this idea.
What if the media began treating cato as if he is the focal point of the Houston Rockets? I know Steve Francis has a slot on a local talk radio show but what if they asked Cato to do weekly shows as well. And all the t.v reporters could bombard him with his thoughts and opinions on the way the rockets performed after a game. Just keep bringing it to him until maybe and thats a big maybe he begins to hate admitiing that he sucks.

Let me know what you guys think.

That would be great. He could do a weekly televised show on Channel 51. The crew could show up at 2 in the afternoon at his house and they could film him starting to wake up from an all night bender. Then they could televise his trip to Mickey Dees where he orders nothing but fries. Five orders of Supersize fries. they could then follow him back to his house where he would do an interview in his boxers and some shades. He'd talk about how he's ready.

Cato took advantage of the Rockets and doesn't deserve a chance to shine.

...not that I'm bitter or anything....

He could have his own talk show. Maybe cut a hip hop cd. Get too busy to play basketball. Then we would be forced to find a replacement... ;)

If they did that, Cato's head would get so HUGE it wouldn't fit in his Bentley...

I hope Cato reads this board and decides this year to prove us wrong...but I won't get my hopes up.

I have the feeling that Cato is happy that Hakeem is gone, but is scared of being a starter. He knows he has a very big responsibility on his shoulders, and I think he won't be able to handle it.

    Saleem,

I think you're right. Funny, how some guys rise and some shrink to opportunity and pressure.

I don't think it concerns him at all, he knows he can foul out in the first quarter, get thrown out of the game and if both of those fail he will go on the IR with a torn fingernail. The only thing that will get his attention is to stop the paychecks. IMO
