I don't care for maps, too confusing. Whats the best way to get to Austin from HOuston, taking I-10 ? Thanks in advance guys....

I-10 West, Right on 71 North. Right on Riverside. Right on I-35

Where in Houston? For example, I-10 goes right by downtown Houston (near where I-10 and 45 intersect), so technically you could take I-10 all the way to Houston.

Don't mess with I10. Take 290 all the way. Either 290 to I35 or 290 to 183 to I35. Straight shot man.

no way... i'm doing 80+ on I-10 and will shave some time off that trip!

Depends on where you're coming from in Houston...

If you're on the North/Northwest side of town, then you can take 290 all the way there...

If you do take the I 10/71 route, while on 71, don't forget to stop by that place that sells chocolate covered pecans! Expensive and high in fat, but, MMMMMM!!! Try one and you'll understand...
