    no I couldn't let myself do it. too many questions going into the game since it is the 5th in 6 nights. I thought about betting slovenia since they were 8 point favorites simply because I wondered how much more yao would have left in the tank. obviously he still has a ton left in the tank.

    but I couldn't bet against yao! :) I will wait for an easier game to play.

    Yao's had about 5 blown rebounds tonight. He didn't box out a guard on a freethrow and the guard stole it from him. He's gotta do better on the boards. And he's obviously gassed out there, walking across halfcourt.

    The O rebounds by the Slovenians remind me of the Sonics vs. Rockets in the old days. The CNT even wears red and the Slovenians green.

    it's more necessity than strategy. it is a must win game and china has to play yao to stay close.

    It is, but with Yao's interior D tonight, the Slovenians could have pulled away any time he left the game. A true valiant effort by Yao out there. It really is incredible what he's doing after only a couple weeks of full-speed play.
