No team on Western Conference got all wins last week.
    Yao's stat is quite impressive with 30+ppg, 10+rpg and 4 blk/game
If Yao is not YOW, I can't think of any other.
edit: I was wrong. Kings got 4 wins..

Edit: Oh, I didn't realize that no team in the West went undefeated last week. Yao has a chance then.

Didn't know that. Good catch. In fact, Yao won his 1st POW on 3/8/04 with less stellar stats and a 2-1 record by the team. It would be a nice consolation prize for Yao and the Rockets fans, bittersweet nonetheless after yesterday's loss to the Spurms.

KB has some good stat but I guess kicking the ball last night will cost him someting. so YM has a good chance there.

I don't know if 2 wins are qualified to be a POW nominee.

I was watching NBATV late last night, they said Pau Gasol was player of the week... is that the same thing as the NBA.com one?

He won his first POW honor by leading Rockets to a 2-1 record (win over Minny and Dallas, loss to LAL).

Forget about POW, POM, POY/MVP. Yao should strive to be the GOAT.

Oh, Bibby was more impressive last week. But our big man will lead his team to win 3 in arow and win the POW of this week.

Yeah, but that's totally easy when you are 7'6, he should be doing better.

It is much harder to be a player of Bibby's size and get 24 pts and 6 assists.

In other news, Paris Hilton wins the "Most Charitable gift of the week" when she paid a bum $10 to go away because he smelled bad.

/not really a big deal, but I imagine that's something espn would say.

Any decent Point Guard can get Bibby like numbers. Not many centers can get Yao like numbers.
