I haven't read or seen anything about him. He's a center, so I'm interested.

That's how is last name starts I think. He's a center who was mentioned by Popeye as a possible project guy we could draft to replace Cato. I haven't heard or read anything about him.

I don't know that much about him, but here's what I do know, if we're talking about the same person: This is from John Thompson (NBA Draft Report)

    53. Soumaila Samake, 7-2, 235, Cincinnati Stuff (IBL)

Out of the IBL? He's rated right behind Chris Carrawell, and in front of Desmond Mason. Oyededji is 2 ahead of him.

Here's his bio from the Cincinnati Stuff home page: http://www.cincinnatistuff.com/pp-samake.html

Led the league in blocks....by the looks of it, he has next to zero offense, 10.1 ppg, 7.7 rpg, shot 57.4% from the field.....22 years old.

his numbers to me sound like Cato....remember, at age 22, he's the age of a college senior, and not nearly as well developed as one. Definitely a project, seems on the thin side for being 7'2''.......

Any idea where he would go in the draft? He's not listed on NBAdraft.net' mock draft. He blocks a lot of shots and if he's somewhat athletic, maybe he would be a good pick if we deal Cato.

I'd say in the 20s range.....

Another center we may want to think about, is Dan McClintock. He's a 7'0'' senior out of Northern Arizona.

Here's what I heard about him:
-fastest 100 yard dash on his team
-30+ inch vertical (for a guy 7'0'' tall!)
    -offensive skills, and good shotblocker

His numbers were something like 15 ppg, and 6 rebs, over 2 bpg

nbadraft.net has him at #28 in the first round.
