Not only is the guy the best thing to ever happen for the Cavs and has single-handedly saved that franchise, but there've been numerous speculations in the past about Lebron ditching the Cavs for NYC or some other 'big' market team. In the case of Cleveland, they can't afford to piss him off with a contract extension looming on the horizon. If he played in NYC and he sucked, the fans would boo yes, but what's he going to do, ask to be traded to the Cavs? It's NYC. Sadly, Cleveland doesn't have that 'leverage', those fans need to zip it or before they realize it they will be booing the best thing to ever happen to them right out of town...

Exactly what I was thinking. maybe if they had mentioned that they would be giving out another award after the game, he would have put in a little more effort in making htose free throws...
