Hasn't seen a thread about the tennis yet, so thought I'd make one. Now that we're into the semi's.

    Federer v. Kiefer
    Nalbandian v. Baghdatis

    Henin-Hardenne v. Sharapova
    Muresmo v. Clijsters

Federer's been playing fantastic lately, I don't see how anyone can beat him. Not sure about the women's draw though, anyone one of those ladies could win.

Actually I think Federer's play has been shaky. He's gotten off to fast starts but then it seems he loses his focus. It may be that he's actually got a coach this year and when he's ahead he's actually going to implement some of the new tactics they've been discussing. One thing I notice is he is coming to the net a lot more than normal.

His match against Haas was great and his last match against davydenko was definitely his toughest of the tourney even though Haas did take him to 5 sets.

He should dispatch of Kiefer. I'd say that one will go straight sets. Well I hope so because Kiefer is such a dick. HE may have problems against nalbandian if he gets to the finals. Nalbandian has beaten him before and recently too.

A lot of that ended in the 1st round and 3rd round with the williams sisters.

Can't believe Baghdatis has come this far. I hope he can give Federer a match at least, that is if Federer gets past Kiefer the Mongrel

This is as good as it gets: Justine Henin-Hardenne vs. Amelie Mauresmo tonight at 9:30 on ESPN2.

A little trivia for you Clutch tennis fans:

When was the last time two single-handed backhand female players were featured in a Grand Slam [ladies] singles final?

How long ago did you play? I know one guy who played in it and he wasn't a dinkballer but that's only one person out of who knows how many.
