Good call. Great taste on everything! Best on steak and eggs!

For tacos, my/Tara's homemade pico de gallo!

    Chinese hot sauce? That's interesting.

I'll go with either the chipotle "hot" sauce or the freebirds "death" salsa.

Hell on the Red if it's store-bought.

love the hot sauce at La Hacienda on Memorial near Dairy Ashford.

can't think of a hot sauce i don't like, though.

Sriracha is the closest I'll get to smoking crack. I love that stuff.

    Siracha for Chinese/Vietnamese food
Hell on the Red for jarred salsa and queso
    McIlhenny's Tabasco for everything else

Sriracha has taken the place of ketchup at my house.

I love Mexican green sauces too.

For home made salsa type sauce:

2 cans -14.5 oz tomatoes- diced or whole - makes no difference
    1 can Rotel tomatoes
    1/4 to 1/2 yellow onion
    1 teaspoon minced garlic
    1/2 cup cilantro

Blend in food processor to degree of particle size you like

My family likes the salsa coarse - large on seafood or chicken

    Pureed for chips

I do not add salt, but do add black fresh ground pepper as you like

    You can freeze this too

    This is really good stuff...

Plus, it's made by a friend of mine who happens to be a wildland firefighter. Warning: The "Hot" and "X-Rated" are really, really HOT!

Plus, he's a cool guy who loves the Blues, creates incredible paintings (sometimes he's sells them for a song on Ebay), and is the grandson of one of the most recognized Puebloan artists, Potter Maria Martinez.

Plus, the proceeds go to help his sister, who has had a heart transplant.

    Here's Jerome and his sister...

    http://www.geronimoswildfiresalsa.com/renee/renee.htm

He's essentially running the business out of his house and the more salsa he sells, the closer he is to his dream of opening up a shop that will employ some folks from The San Ildefonso Pueblo.

    Thanks.
