Exactly. I change my stance on it if that is indeed the case. When it was stated that it was "a joke", I interpreted that to mean she wanted to mess with the security people.

 

How are people getting on her? The idiots couldn't tell the difference between flour and 3 different types of drugs? And they did multiple test? She deserves a hefty sum.

 

I still think the real issue here is the three week incarceration for what should have been verified overnight.

I'm not as concerned why she had flour filled condoms...as i understand the customs officer's reaction to them.

(and I didn't know that massaging...um...phallic objects...was a stress reliever for women. THis could have made exam time at college most interesting. Think of all the stessed out women i could have helped)

No, I wouldn't want her to be ignorant of drug-smuggling methods. Being ignorant isn't going to help anyone. Being informed and making wise decisions would help. Tip for anyone who hasn't realized it yet: as a rule of thumb, do not put any white powdery substances into plastic containers or bags and then carry them around for fun.

Yes, the "war" on drugs is 1) a war that we are losing, more and more every passing day, 2) a waste of time and 3) a waste of money.

3 weeks to determine it was flour??!!!! yeah what she did was dumb but i think the police not being able to determine flour from cocaine in about, oh.....5 seconds is even more dumb. i would definitely sue too, and i hate how much people sue in this country but this is a case where the police have to be held accountable for being idiots and keeping an innocent person is jail for 3 weeks.

 

To me, the girls stupidity has much more to do with the fact that she chose to transport the flour using the #1 method of choice: condoms.

Don't **** with customs. They don't play around with that sh*t.

Aren't the condoms normally swallowed when used to transport drugs? I must be missing something...
