Ok when they beat the spurs i shrugged it off, every good team eventually loses to a bad one. But now im kinda scared at the fact that Atlanta just beat Cleveland 100-94... and lebron even scored 39 .. 2 in a row now.. atlanta might catch up http://www.nba.com/games/20051213/ATLCLE/boxscore.html
I think both teams took it too easy. IF the hawks win one more game, then i will be interested. Whats with marvin williams. What a bust, he averages less than 6 points a game. If they had Chris Paul, they would be much better right now.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2005121305 James, who scored a season-high 52 at Milwaukee on Saturday, has scored at least 30 points in six straight games. However, the Cavaliers are 1-5 in that stretch and are getting worse, not better. I think it happened last season as well. Early in the last season, Lebron scored less points and the Cavs are actually winning. Then late in the season, when Lebron scored more points, the team started to lose more games. I wonder what is the problem?
Or his team really sucks. I mean aside from Larry Hughes and Z, they don't have dependable options. Even considering Hughes and Z as 'dependable' options is a stretch to some.
clevaland's got some talent. its just that they dont play as a team. especially on defense. i watched this game, and tyronn lue lit up the cavs in the 3rd quarter for 13 points. tyrone lue!!! he was splitting double teams to get to the basket and flipping in teardrops.
Besides the fact that Larry Hughes can't shoot, Cleveland's team assist/turnover ratio is terrible! Lebron especially needs to take care of the ball better...
When they played the Rockets, I thought Atlanta had a lot of talent out there. Josh Smith, Harrington, Stoudemire, the Euro guy (can't think of his name). they have some hope for the future, they're really young. and that's not even counting if Marvin Williams turns out to be a player. did anyone see that dunk smith had last night?
I watched the Atlanta game and thought Atlanta lost mainly since they did not play the entire 48 minutes. They certainly have the talent, to be a 500 team that is. I predict that Marvin Williams will not be a bust.
Yep - He did well in the SA game as well. Saw Liu on NBA TV and he said the key is they have JJ back at SG where he belongs. After they decisively beat the Spurs, I was thinking that they might build on that win, I like Woodson and hopefully they continue winning so Woodson can keep his job.
