Silent Hill was a great game.. I tried the later ones on x-box, but they were not very good to say the least.. I going to buy an old playstation so I can play Silent Hill again.. If the movie is 1/2 as good as the game I'm sure it will be good..

That looks great. Thanks RC. This is a little off topic while on topic, but you guys should definitly pick up Resident Evil 4, if you havent already. I bought it for my younger sibling a few weeks ago for gamecube and its amazing.

those dots were actually crack rocks, and Mrs. Pac Man whose a w**** to Pac Man's pimp. I thought that was plainfully obvious, 2 characters craving for little yellow rocks.

Sooner or later Hollywood had to get it right. They eventually did w/ the superhero genre. The only problem is that most games nowadays are movie experiences unto themselves. Still I can't wait to see Halo on the big screen and I would die for a MGS adaptation.

And shoot, Fatal Frame, if done right, could be scary as hell. Though I don't know how well it could adapt.

Yeah, although I never really got into the games, I'm interested in the Halo movie. MS and Bungie seem like they're trying very hard to make the movie good and show what made the games so great. It seems like part of Konami felt the same way about SH, and as I said earlier, Christophe Gans seems to really know what SH is about. Let's hope that's true and also hope that other movie directors will do the same for other video game adaptations.

As for MGS, I'd love to see that too...only I saw that Uwe Boll wanted to direct it, and when I read that, my heart skipped a few beats. I'm not sure what's worse: Uwe Boll directing a MGS movie or the Rockets injury problems this season. I think I'll go with the former.

As for Fatal Frame, that would make a good movie potentially. In fact, I could have sworn that I read about someone making a movie adaptation but I'm not sure. I think I may have gotten it mixed up with Siren or something.

Looks good, and scary. When you make your game a playable movie, it will have no problem transitioning to the big screen.

There was a 3rd one? I can barely remember the second one.

edit: There is a 3rd one, but it barely started filming late last year:

According to Wiki, there was a live-action series, Mortal Kombat:Conquest, back in 98-99. Maybe that's what you saw? It did suck since it was cancelled after one season. :)

Mortal Kombat: Devastation, I guess is the name. I searched on IMDB.com and found a tad bit of information. I kind of like the first one, so I'll be intersted in seeing how this turns out. Looks like filming will start in May, according to this site.
