    USC's defense will struggle against Jamaal Charles, Ramonce Taylor and other backs that catch the ball out of the backfield. David Thomas will also have a strong game as the USC linebackers are mediocre at best in coverage. The Texas "problems" against the run are overstated because of A&M and the option, a situation that won't be the case with Matt Leinart.

    Hope so. Yeah, I'm glad you mentioned it in this thread cause I was wondering during the game. At first I thought you were a guy I had a class with last semester that I didn't know very well, but I wasn't sure on that and I didn't want to say very much cause I wasn't sure, and I figured I'd look like a dumbass if I guessed the wrong person. ;) Then after it got to 35-3, I started wondering if anyone from the BBS was around me, then it hit me... "you know, that guy outside kinda looked like RM95." So yeah, no rudeness intended. :p

    And yeah, I burned up the minutes on my phone after the 18-inning game... still can't believe I was lucky enough to get to go to that and had to rub it in to everyone who wasn't there.

    As much as I want Texas to win I have to look back at USC/Oklahoma.
    The Game Of The Century hype was just as big, the matchup looked as even but USC blew em out. Texas has more playmakers than OK did and USC lost 2 or 3 defensive players to the NFL from that squad, so I've got hope..but I have to temper that with history.

    The 2006/7 National Championship Game though....Texas is the favorite!

    Texas wins! no doubt about it. I dont think USC has played ONE team this year with a half decent D yet, let alone one like Texas. The game will be magical, but the X-factor is VINCE YOUNG!

    I think that this will be a better game than last year's natonal championship game.

    i am hoping for some type of classic.



    I think UT will win because I hate this UT alumni person. And the way my life is, I bet UT wins.

    Which isn't a bad thing thugh.
