Am I the only one who found that whole Mr. Herbert song very disturbing? In general, Mr. Herbert is one of many over the top characters on the show, but I found myself shaking my head in disbelief during that whole sequence.

Yeah, I thought that character was cool in small doses.

But that was, uh, a little too much.

disturbing-yes, but intentionally so. Its hard to see the reality of people we dont want to understand.

but then again, it's peanut butter jelly time.

I was a little surprised there wasn't a thread from the 11/06 episode when Osama Bin Laden was making the video and then Stewie did his Yoda and Leslie Nielsen routine. Absolutely hilarious.

is he the pedophile dude who likes chris? he was singing a song from Little Shop of Horrors (Somewhere that's Green), which is the second time they've referenced that this season. the first being the pimple chris had, which talked and acted like the plant (Audrey II) from Little Shop of Horrors. but yeah it was a little disturbing.

i couldn't place the song when i first heard it but the donna reed lyric did remind me of that movie and it turned out that's where it was from.

i thought the whole "orgy" on the deserted island was just a wee bit over the top and several other things have been over the top even for family guy.

however, it's still been funny. the FCC song was great and the "you know what i'm talking about. lubed up...toothpaste...(something)...episcopalian...extension cord..." thing was hilarious.

Mr. I can't do a suicide bombing. He brought a note from his doctor. It's a suicide bombing.

It's worth watching again just to hear the guys in the background.

    "Any day Osama"

    "That would freak them out"

I thought last week's was possibly the weakest episode ever. Definitely out of the new one's. The only part I really found funny was Stewie and Peter laughing at what they were doing. That and Stewie wearing the same clothes as Peter.

And yes, I'm with bobrek, the Osama bit was hysterical. I was in tears when he put on those huge sunglasses.

I liked Stewie's, "you should've spent less time on that article, (voice getting higher) and more time workin' on that novel"...WHACK!

I think the old man is really funny.. I loved it the first time he was on the show and Chis was the newspaper boy and he said "GET IN MY CELLARYOU FAT ****" after Chris rode away.. Funny stuff.. Also, I thought it was the best show of the "new" season so far..

The episode was a bit creepy with Herbert's homage to Little Shop of Horrors, but yes, Peanut Butter Jelly Time made the episode at least above average.
