Another reason to never watch CNN.

CNN MARKS CHENEY: NETWORK FLASHES 'X' OVER VP'S FACE DURING LIVE SPEECH

**Exclusive**

At 11:04:45 AM ET Monday CNN was airing Vice President Dick Cheney's speech live from the American Enterprise Institute in Washington -- when a large black 'X' repeatedly flashed over the vice president's face!

The 'X' over Cheney's face appeared each time less than a second, creating an odd subliminal effect.

As this DRUDGE REPORT screen capture reveals, while one 'X' flashed over Cheney's face CNN ran a headline at the bottom of its screen: "CHENEY: I DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS WRONG TO CRITICIZE."

One top White House source expressed concern about what was aired over CNN.

"Is someone in Atlanta trying to tell us something?"

A CNN spokesman did not return repeated calls late Monday night.

It's a lie. I watched the CNN speech live and it never happened. Although I would probably have a good laugh if it did.

Uprising you need to get your news from some place other than Drudge.

The only thing that is up for debate is whether or not Drudge is a credible news source. Stuff like this makes it look like he is a partisan hack.

I stand corrected and apologize to Uprising.

Apparently it did happen but only for a split second and it wasn't on purpose. Apparently CNN was loading a graphic for their next segment and the X was a transition graphic to the next.

It happened so fast I guess I messed it. But of course Drudge has to make it into some big conspiracy.

Drudge reported the facts like reporters SHOULD do... if anything his report helped clear up exactly what happened. I love how people continually bash drudgereport.com but you all read it and start topics with stories directly from it. Bush can make an error like try to open a locked door and get out, but you can't laugh when CNN does something stupid? Come on people.
