Guy can shoot and play D, and is a Van Gundy fav. But the real question is - Why hasn't a team picked him up?

Should we be interested at this point??

Please don't bring this guy in...he's trouble...the team currently has guys that genuinely like one another. GIVE IT TIME, the Rox will be fine. They just need T-Mac at 100%, make shots and get the DAMM ball to Yao in the 2nd half!!!

I think he was trouble early in his career with the whole choking thing, but I think we are over that. He's been a quality vet over the past 7 years or so, plus Gundy always finds a way to bring the team together.

Anything is a upgrade over wesely. i could see a Alston, Spree and Tracy working well together. spree would automaticly be the 3rd best outside shooter on the team. someone who we can can rely to convert the free looks. hence take a little bit of the pressure off yao.

Sprewell is hands down better than Wesley at this point. He is quicker and is 110% better at creating his own shot. I would love to see a lineup of
    Head
    Spree
    TMac
    Swift
    Yao

You do not replace a 35 year old guard with another 35 year old one....

    Spree is a knucklehead.........

This team won 2 championships with an out of control Vernon Maxwell and a head coach prone to let the inmates run the asylum. Van Gundy can handle Sprewell and get the most out of him.

These Sprewell threads need to stop. Apart from the debate on whether he can be a right fit for the team, he is unwilling to play below for what he believes is his market value.

While we're just playing around here with the whole Spree thing, clearly it's impossible that he will agree to play with us for a vet's min, so it's a dead topic really. Yes, we would sign him in a heartbeat, but we won't because he won't play for that kind of money
