    It was "Would you like him to coach 'your' team." Something like that. They showed the results state-by-state and Texas had voted 'yes', along with every other state.

    Since the vote's 164 - 8 now, I'm going to go ahead and conclude that either ESPN was wrong or all the Mavs fans voted 'yes'.

    I believe you're right, it's a buyout. But that's just a nice way to fire someone isn't it?

    Did anybody see that huge bruise on the face of the Pistons owner when he was interviewed by Larry Brown? I wonder if Brown cold cocked him when he found out he was fired. :)

    Man I remember a couple of years ago here on the board when we were trying to get Brown. A lot of people thought he would come here and a lot of us were disappointed when he chose not to come here. I can't help but thinking that if he would have come here if he would have put us in the same position that he put Detroit in. Back then I was pissed that we didn't get him, now I couldn't be happier.

    I've heard that sentiment repeated a couple times. Just goes to show that there's a little fairweather in all of us. :D
