[FALSE] OT - Astros in blockbuster talks

    This is pretty serious for what I've been hearing. Lane, Burke, Astacio, Nieve, Harville, and Patton for Dunn and Griffey. ESPN Radio reported it, and now an "inside source in the Astros' organization" confirmed that talks exist. Don't know if it'll happen though. A poster on Astros.com Forum says its almost a done deal. TPurp's still thinking though. As someone stated earlier: "don't throw soap at me if I'm mistaken."

    Dude...

    Check that Astros.com thread again - the guy who posted this rumor was pulling everyone's leg and is laughing at them now.

    Also, ESPN Radio has not reported it all day to my knowledge, and I've been by the radio...

    When did they report this?

    My friend pulled a trick like this on me earlier in the year. He told me the Pirates traded for Griffey, I almost threw up & started crying.

    Thank God for your sake this isn't true.....

    well the poster seemed like he had credible sources. ESPN Radio, as well as a senior official in the organization. I can't argue with that.
