alkaline and acid diet

    hi, how is everyone?

    the reason i am posting is to see if any of you have tried the whole alkaline acid ph diet thing? from a common sense approach, it seems like it should work like a charm although admittedly it is very difficult to get used to eating so many greens. has anyone lasted on this thing for more than a week? what kind of results did you get?

    and if you have been on a different kind of diet that really increased your energy level, what did your diet consist of?

    i'm sick of having to sleep 9 or 10 hours a day.

    Never heard of it, and I have no idea what you're talking about - sorry.:D

    When I saw the title, I thought you meant the acid from an Alkaline battery. That probably isn't the healthiest diet...

    That's funny. You guys immediately thought battery acid, but when I saw alkaline and acid, I immediately thought of Alka Seltzer and LSD.

    I haven't seen this diet, but I don't know why it would work. The pH of the stomach is about 1.5 I think. Everything's going to be acid when it gets down there. Then it gets broken down, and its chemical nature is different...
