    And what do you use, i.e. can you do it online ... and is that legal?

    well are you talkin about tradesports or anyother site? on tradesports if you think rockets will win...you will SELL shares of dallas to win straight up....and/or....SELL shares of Dallas -4.5....

    My friend is in Vegas right now. I have suposedly gotten 30 - 1 odds on Houston to win the championship. I bet $50. If I win I get a free fun weekend in Vegas.

    I'm not betting any money on the Rockets. I'm a poor college student what can I say? But I did just buy my nephew a TMAC jersey for his 2nd birthday so he can help cheer us on to the championship. Considering it won't arrive until around game 4 or 5 of the series we better win some games. I'd love to see that jersey get full use.

    Actually I do have a friendly bet with my Dad though. I said the Spurs were going to win the title and he said the Heat. I know we both want to lose if we can see the Rockets bring home another title.

    You would probably not want to bet on a line, just bet on the rockets to win. They will give you some decent odds, probably close to 2:1.

    I bet the Rockets over a month ago to win it all. They were 30-1 at the time at Pinnacle. I know it's a longshot but I only bet $1000 and if they come I'll be celebrating in more ways than one! Honestly I think they have a chance if they can get past Dallas.

    Not sure if OMR is kidding about the $1000, but I did put $10 on the Rix to win it all at 30-1 when I was in Vegas last month.

    Just another reason to root them on!

    So, looks like a moneyline bet on the Rockets has a price of 3.00 so it would payout 3x the bet, the original bet + 200%. That sound about right?

    Guess Cuban placed his bet, because the line at sportsinteraction is now 6.
