Where cani get a Yao Shanghai Sharks Jersey?

    I've been looking around everywhere and can't find one Shanghai jersey, even on ebay. I do have a friend that's been going to school in Beijing for 3 months now, and he said he would gladly get me a jersey, and he's seen them with everything else you could imagine out there very cheap. I just really want to get one in time for playoffs.

    So does anyone know where to find one in the US or should i just get one mailed to me from China? I haven't seen any of the US prices, but i'm already guessing the Chinese ones, estimated, are at least less than 1/2 of what it would be getting one here including shipping.

    Would anyone else possibly be interested if i got some pics of them up and then had them delivered to the US first?

    Sorry Clutch if this is the wrong section, but i dug up a very old and similiar post and it was about this same thing, plus more people can see it this way incase they want one. ;)

    You can't really get an authentic or even a replica one - adidas doesn't make ones for fans to purchase.

    However - there are some shops in Shanghai which sell replica jerseys made by OBC (Oriental Basketball Club) - which is the parent organization of the Sharks.

    I can't really tell you where I bought mine - I bought it in a department store on Nanjing Road in Shanghai - there was an entire Shanghai Sharks section in the sporting goods store - but this was about 5 years ago and - there's about 20 department stores on Nanjing Road.

    It looks a lot like this one, except mine says "OBC" where the little logo is

    Thanks Yao, at least i can tell my friend what brand to get now. Also, do you happen to remember how much you paid for it?

    My memory's a little hazy, I'm guessing 100 RMB (about 12 USD). It's not very high quality.

    I don't know how yaomania can be in china. He's constantly trying to get guys to go to the Rocket Launch parties before Rox games.
