Thats right baby We are the Pest in the West. With our last two home games we have combined for 72 points and held our oppenents to 21 . How about Curtis Martin? He will run all over the Raiders , What??? Lets see Curtis Martin 17 attempts allright 11 yards!!!! DAMN what happened there . Im sorry is the Raiders Defense to soft? What? Old Man Eric Allen 4 INTS in the last 3 Games Two Of them for TD's . William Thomas Linebacker , unsung hero? How about 6 interceptions on the year , for a linebacker 6 picks??? Damn Straight We are the Raider Nation And We are coming full speed ahead to the Playoffs . Oh yeah And New York dont go thinking Chad Pennington is better than Ray Lucas and Vinny , We just let them score to mess with your heads , Its all good Wayne Chrebet was on my fantasy team anyways . And Denver , up yours because if you have to come to our house , You aint got a chance in hell . ------------------ Where is my signature?
You are the pest in the BBS. Go Titans!!! ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
HOOP-T What? Where are the Titans movng to now? Arkansas? They can "go" alright, straight to Hell, for all I care. ------------------ "I have a DREAM.........his name's Hakeem." DREAMer's Rocket Page
That's funny, because I seem to remember Denver 33, -aklan- 24 in -aklan-. Hmmmm....... ------------------ Nuggets4 The Pinnacle - Rising to the Top With the Denver Nuggets http://www.NugsPinnacle.com
Titans 3 losses by a grand total of seven points, Two Missed field goals, and a 65 yard miss by Hentrich in Buffalo. Two losses came to playoff caliber teams Baltimore and Buffalo. Third loss went to Jacksonville who is 7-7. You can't argue with those numbers. That was the worst part of our season. We are that close to being 14-0. All of that without Dyson, Pickens, and Thigpen....our three star wideouts. Now do you want to talk about the good parts of our season. All eleven of them. We smoke the Raiders with our bench. Please. Go home. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
moestavern19, I did not know that the Raiders were your favorite team. I will give the Raiders there props. The Raiders spanked the Jets. WOW!!! With the Dolphins losing earlier in the day I would have thought that Jets would come out and play with some attitude. That game was never close. The Raiders have had an excellent year. Rich Gannon should be the MVP this year. My money has always been on the Titans. Still is. I can't wait till the playoffs. Well if we face each other during the playoffs may the best team win. Peace!!! ------------------ Titan's fanatic!!!! It was the first time the Titans sent an offense to the line of scrimmage with Eddie George in the backfield behind McNair to go with Wycheck at tight end and Carl Pickens, Kevin Dyson and Yancey Thigpen at wide receiver. So many choices, with a full season still ahead. "I think that might be scary for a defense," Dyson said. [This message has been edited by Dream34 (edited December 13, 2000).]
By the way, Mike tirico likes Gannon a lot. Raiders showed some of that old defensive mystique. Gannon is leading them to comebacks, and for example, has been playing just like McNair. It's going to be tight to the finish, but you will be playing at Adelphi this year! I hope you beat out Miami for 2nd. You are much better than the Dolphins. I think the best AFC teams are the 1.Titans 2.Colts 3.Ravens 4.Broncos with Griese 5.Raiders 6.Dolphins 7.Jaguars 8.Jets 9.Steelers 10.Chiefs ------------------ humble, but hungry.
PhiSlammaJamma, I have to disagree somewhat with the order of your AFC rankings. I do not think the Colts are playing like the second placed team in the AFC. They have played to inconsistently this year to be ranked that high. There game this week against the Dolphins should be a good measuring stick. They have the talent on offense but I think they are to many ??? on defense. I think the Titans are #1 and the Raiders #2. I see alot of the Dolphins and they are a very good team. They are easily a #3 if not a #2 in the AFC. The Dolphins defense is just awesome. Plus this year they have a good offense (thanks in large part to Chan Galey -offensive coordinator). If the Titans win their next two games they need to be sending Thank You cards to the Steelers (for beating the Raiders) and the Buc's (for beating the Dolphins). Also the Ravens are going to go as far there defense carrys them. Their defense is also very tough. Unlike the Dolphins they have a very suspect offense. They lead the league in three and outs for the opposing offense. I just think there offense will let them down in the playoffs. The Broncos are playing well. I am sure they are praying to play the Raiders in the playoffs. That would be great match-up again. It would also be interesting to see if the Jets played the Dolphins. The Jets have had the Dolphins number all year. The Jaguars are hot but I will reserve my rankings to only potential playoff teams. So I think that you need to get rid of teams like the Steelers, Jaguars and Chiefs. ------------------ Titan's fanatic!!!! Titans and Raiders have similar patterns , Titans/Oilers went 8-8 for a few years before going to the Super Bowl , The Raiders last two years have been 8-8 playing for nothing but pride , I have every right to be exicted that they finally made the playoffs Oh yeah Nuggets4 Cincinatti 31 Denver 21 What the hell was that . ------------------ Where is my signature?
2-Colts???? More like: 1-Titans 2-Raiders 3-Ravens 4-Colts 5-Broncos 6-Dolphins ------------------ www.dsscake.com
I haven't seen a lot of Miami, but I saw the Jaguars rack up 63 on them in the playoffs last year. I know last year was last year, but that experience might cause them to go mental once again. I'm banking on it. That's why I dopped them so low. Colt's have had some success in playoffs and I expect that to carry over into the post season (should things fall their way). ------------------ humble, but hungry.

moe, that game just proves the old cliche, "on any given sunday..." I wouldn't get too cocky about another matchup with the Broncos - could come back to bite you in the ass. The Broncos have owned the Raiders for several years now. I'll concede that you do have reason to crow however. Raiders have looked pretty good this year... in the regular season anyway. he he. Nuggets4, I have to disagree with you. The worst football game in the history of mankind was between the Bills and Oilers. I won't elaborate on the gory details, though... too traumatic... bad flashbacks... ------------------
