    Recap please.....

I don't feel like running out to my truck to tune into the station.

Once again, I will continue my 610 complaint.

    Start streaming already 610!

    Not much worth noting actually...

He joked about T-Mac's off the backboard shot last night, and said that T-Mac "would hear it from us" if he did that during the game, saying that this team has a lot of veterans and they don't shy away from letting him know if he does something wrong. (good to hear)

Also, he talked about how he still has jerseys from every team he has played for when asked by Matt J about it.

He gave credit for how well the Rockets are playing right now to the fact that they are playing "like a team", and called it a total team effort.

When asked about whether their goals are higher now than just making the playoffs, Howard retracted a bit and said the goal coming into the season was to make the playoffs, so assuminhly that is still the main goal. Moreover, he said once teams get into the playoffs they try to win games, and talked about how there were pretty good teams like the Spurs who still haev intact the nucleus that won it all before, and few other teams as well. So basically he did not give a definitive answer (which I like, I hate hype, because it comes and goes).

When asked about the Seattle game, he said it would a great confidence builder to win the game etc.

    LOL!

Matt J is saying that "it is strange how the Steve Francis-for-McGrady trade calls taht said it was a bad trade have all of a sudden dissipated":D

Also, apprently he read these boards and asked whether the Rockets can go 18-11 and reach 50 wins.

By the way, Rashard Lewis might come on the show at the 7 O'Clock hour since he is already in town

I might not be able to recap though, since I am going out:(

he has posted here before under the handle MattJ. He posted a few weeks back to report about the comment what Derek Anderson said after the game about him coming to the Rockets.

Yah I know, I saw that. Although because he has only posted 10 times or something like that, I thought he did not log on frequently to the BBS. But I guess he logs on and reads the threads and everything, but does not like to post much.

Methinks it is a good move for a sports radio host to do. There is plenty information one can gleen in places like these in a very short time. If only the un-informed Rich, Granato and Lance could be a bit smarter and use this initiative to their advantage. Unbelievably, those guys I just mentioned still get paid by sports radio 610 as host - laughable indeed. I know at least 10 personalities on this BBS that can do better than those guys when it comes to totally sound and intelligent sports discourse from folks like Texas Stokes to DoD. I hope ESPN790 continue to put pressure by making great hires. Thank God for competition.

PS. Juwan also took time out to give props to Cuban. He glossed over and over how caring he is for his team on and off the court. He skirted the issue of largesse they enjoyed as Dallas Maverick players - he made sure he did not name the things Cuban gave them for extra comfort but made it clear that Cuban took care of business.

Very vanilla interview but it sure was nice to hear his voice.

If I'm not mistaken, Lance is a lurker here and mentions this place now and then.

Interesting, but why does he and John always find it hard to answer certain question from callers? It has gotten so bad that I don't even listen to them in the morning anymore unless I have advance notice that Frank is going to be a guest on the show.

I apologize if my harsh critism offend them but as a consumer I am not happy about the product 610 is giving me.
