There have been several times on the FSN telecast where you could audibly hear fans booing Francis when he gets the ball. What a bunch of classless ****ing idiots....... Embarrassed to be a Houstonian.
it's like 4 people I guess you missed his Introduction. 99% cheered. Plus people are not going to cheer for him during the game, therefore you can only hear the vocal minority.
I was at the game they were cheering him from start to finish really. The only times they booed were usually when he was shooting freethrows and they were doing that to everyone so that was nothing big cuase as soon as he made the free throws people started cheering. He looked like a class act out there he threw his arm band to a fan then on the way out of the tunnell stopped to sign autographs did a wave good bye and went in.
actually, in the section dave2000 and I were in, they booed francis anytime he touched the ball, they booed cato too. we just kinda sat there wondering why the entire time.
It's sad to hear people boo for Francis and also Cato. We didn't win with them but Steve gave it all last year even improving on defense with his poor shooting being his only blemish. I'm glad we got T-Mac for them and Mobley because we needed to have a better compliment to Yao. If we get good role players we will be on our way up.
Yeah, I was at the game and did hear some idiots boo Francis the first couple times he had the ball. At one point there were going around throwing shirts to everyone, and there was one left on the floor so Steve grabbed it and launched it into the crowd and everyone in my section cheered for him.
What a guy. This morning he says he "built the arena" and tonight he's not happy with his ovation? You gotta be kidding me.
