OK, don't ask me why, but I watched some olympic soccer, and this Andres Cantor dude is a trip. Dude has a set of lungs made by Goodyear or something... Anyways, I say that we get everyone together at SRO or something and have a screaming maniac contest...Everyone puts five bucks into the pot, and whoever can scream "GOOOOOOOOOAL" at the top of their lungs for the longest time is the winner of the prize...The person that comes in last has to buy a round for everybody... That is, if we don't get kicked out of the place first... ------------------ If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding!!
I'm glad the women soccer team lost. ------------------ I am so exasperated that I could expectorate.
Me too. I guess you've never watched Latin American broadcasts of football games. It's pretty much the norm for them. I think it's a great asset...makes things more exciting. I always watch the English version of ESPN, but switch whenever my team scores. ------------------ Nederland 2002 Qualifying Campaign (Damn those penalties!!!) Way to show your support. ------------------ Too often, we lose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, but it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and pimp-slap the mother****** upside the head!
Why are you guys glad ? Do you think the girls got too big for their britches ? I'm just bitter because the USA always win everything. Read my Olympic thread. They lost 2-3 to Norway in extra time. ------------------ Nederland 2002 Qualifying Campaign (Damn those penalties!!!) Houston Rockets Space Center- Not just another ClutchCity.NET clone. We're that and more!
Cantor has improved his English quite a bit over the course of the Olympics. The first couple of games he was brutal, but he's progressed to passable (I know he isn't just learning English, but he needed some practice). And his goal calls were always great. Norway played a great game and deserved to win. ------------------
