    Pat (Houston, Texas): do you think mcgrady and ming can lead the rockets back into the playoff picture

    Chad Ford: I think they need help. They are shouldering a huge load right now. No one else on the team has really stepped up the way the Rockets had hoped. They either need to make a trade or get more production from either Bob Sura, Juwan Howard or Mo Taylor.

    Don't laugh. Chad "Stating the Obvious" Ford is much better than the Chad "Houston has zero chance landing T-Mac" Ford :)

    bob I would answer it this way.

    Chad Ford: Thats a great question Pat. I think the Rox have a great chance of sneaking into the playoffs. They have a great foundation in Yao/TMac who cause match up problems with 90% of other teams. They have Sura healthy and is playing great (could work on that outside shot more) , JHoward and MOT seem to be waking out of the slumber and hitting their open shots. Once they get Boki back from injury I definately see them as a playoff contender.

    Like any team they have some holes to fill and I hope they can address them this off season.

    Honestly cut him a break. They asked a question, he gave an answer. It was an obvious answer to anybody who followed the team, but it was also the right answer.

    i'm not a chad ford fan but there really isn't anything wrong with what he said. i think bob sura is playing well though, he's starting to get back into shape. really this team just needs some kind of quickness/rebounding at the four and they'd be alright.
