    Players will go where they get PAID, they will play for a bottom feeder if they pay the most..............it's about the $$ and nothing else and when they tell you $$ isn't a factor know they are full of doo doo

    Some of these takes are weird.

    Texans made their big investment into Ingraham. They don’t have the ability to commit big multi year deals to other olinemen

    It’s not practical to need to sign four of your five offensive lineman to free agent or second contracts the problem they have is they-haven’t been able to draft replacements that are competent starters

    Yeah because they spent it on Rankins and Blankenship. How is this part that difficult to understand? Had they not spent on those two guys, they easily could have signed a center. Defense should be replenished in the draft. The o-line is the one place they have proven they can't draft. All other positions should be replaced in draft..Sign legitimate offensive linemen in free agency.

    they had to get a starting safety. Rankins is a two year deal.

    they needed to get two starters doe the oline in FA right now they have one.

    They needed four starting offensive linemen. They got one so far. Trent Brown can't be the plan. Jake Andrews can't be the plan. Yes they need safeties and d-line also, but the glaring weakness was o-line and all they have done is re-sign one guy. The defense was stellar even needing a safety last year. Draft a safety. Draft a Rankins replacement. I trust them to draft good players on defense They needed to sign three guys at minimum for the o-line. Maybe they will still figure it out.

    It is practical to sign Mays and another FA OL. then draft 1 or 2 high in the draft. Fill out the defense in the draft where the DT/S positions are the deepest in the draft.

    Alright, this is more like it! Immediately improved RT and put a division rival in a quandry to fill the same spot. I'd call that a two'fer!
