If bored, watch DFS on offense. Runs with his head down not even wanting the ball and then hides in a corner. On the off chance it gets in his hands he never looks at the basket and immediately passes it sideways. Great pickup for $53mm total. Calling him and Tari - Dumb and Dumber!!!
By being really good at other aspects of an NBA offense, like passing, driving, cutting, offensive rebounding, all of which Amen does. He was also a very good roll man in the PnR last season, we've just gone away from it this season because we don't have a point guard. Shooting isn't everything, but you do generally need four shooters on the court. As more and more big men come into the league as decent jump shooters (think about 2024 alone with Sarr, Clingan, Ware, and Filipowski), I actually think Amen is going to become easier to fit into a roster. We're just in a weird spot where our young 2x All-Star isn't one of those guys, really. (Maybe a little bit.)

I like the idea of making Jabari more of a center, where his shooting would really play up, than keeping him strictly as a forward, where it kind of plays down (so far, he may improve). He would need to really hit the weight room though, and I have the impression he sees himself more as a 3/4 than a 4/5.

I said before the draft that this kid would be a perfect fit for the Rockets. The Rockets don't need a player who can score down low, unless its a Jokic or an Embiid type. With a player like Amen, you need to space the court.
