In regards to the Tight End group. Sidiq is a solid mid 1st round pick this year. Sidiq will not be available at 28. Stowers and Roush are both Second Rounders. That's right, Stanford TE Sam Roush will be taken in the 2nd round . Freakish athletic ability at 267 pounds.

Dillon Thieneman was borderline 1st round before the Combine. Now he's firmly in the 1st round and the Texans would be lucky if he's available at 28. Very productive college career and a near perfect raw athletic score.

    He probably wont be available.

Harrison Smith is my comp, Thieneman will be a decade long starter.

Honestly, I'm not sure that Sidiq is worth a first round pick based on his PFF grades from last season. Maybe he'll become a great TE but I'm not convinced that he is one now.

Dalton Schultz is decent. We don't know if Brevin Jordan will ever again be productive. Cade Stover was a wasted pick. I'm hopeful that we can pick a TE in the 4th that will improve our TE room.

Tight End is not a premium position but many coaches and scouts will now be convinced that Sadiq will be be a future pro bowl player. The comp for Sadiq that they were using at the Combine was Vernon Davis. Almost identical size and athletic scores. Do you select the fifth or sixth best offensive lineman in the draft that will be an average starter, or do you select a player that your confident will be a future pro bowl player? Caleb Lomu is a good prospect, but he's going to be an average starting NFL tackle.

Tytus Howard and Trent Brown (assuming he re-signs) might have to play RT again this year, unless Blake Fisher is radically improved. I would rather take a great guard in Pregnon than draft another project at OT.

Depending on who's there I'm picking Sadiq, a rare talent and I doubt he will be there at 1-28 after his combine.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind taking him if he’s there.
Interior Oline is available in the 2nd along with backs and TEs.
With Thieneman and Bullock, our backend would be elite athletically and production wise

I had consistently been getting Washington and Trigg in the 4th with mockdraftdatabase. So much for that. I think Trigg might still be there but might need to look back at Jonah Coleman for a RB there.
