I’m good with a 3rd round pick on Koziol, he’s got great pass catching skills for a TE

I guess if he's their guy you go get him but i think he'll be there a full round (or more) later.

One big knock on Koziol is poor blocking. College tight-ends that can catch but can't block are a dime a dozen. We already have numerous tight-ends that can't block and who get abused.

I agree. Though to be honest I am advocating for Michael Trigg, a tight end that cant block.

It's ok to use a play-making tight-end that can't block as long as the OC doesn't rely on said TE to block. I certainly wouldn't mind having a great, play-making, TE. Dalton Schultz is decent but I wouldn't call him a threat, nor can he block.

Mock draft sites are updating their algorithms due to combine results. I got us our TE and upgraded the rest of the offense in this PFF mock. No trades. Just stick and pick. Screenshot_20260227_110014_Chrome.jpg

Dallen Bentley out of Utah is a TE that intrigues me.

    Dallen BentleyTEUtah
    Height: 6 - 3 |Weight: 262 lbs |RAS: N/A
Dallen Bentley is a sleeper in the 2026 TE class who could end up securing Day 2 capital and back up that billing in the NFL. At around 6'4", 265 pounds, Bentley is one of the more sturdily-built players in the class, with a well-leveraged and high-mass frame with decent width and length. At that size, in Utah's run-heavy offense, he's easy to misconstrue as an exclusive early-down bully. To be clear, he absolutely lives up to that image in the run game; he's explosive, tenacious on the attack, with fast and active feet and hands, driving power, quality leveraging, and physicality. That said, Bentley also doubles as a high-level receiving threat, as evidenced by his 2025 production. As a separator, he can off-set, sink, and redirect on short routes to find space, he's a stolid catch-point operator through contact, and he has the explosion and balance to accrue RAC. He can be more consistent properly finding soft spots in zone coverage, and he's not the most flexible contortionist, but he nonetheless projects as a potential impact starter with every-down utility.

In this mock I couldn't pass on Caleb Banks. I seriously doubt he'll make it to 28 in the real draft.

Some believe that Sam Hecht out of Kansas State might be the best center in the draft while others believe it's Connor Lew out of Auburn.

He sounds pretty intriguing to me too. I have been beating the drum for 2 free agents: Allgeier at RB and Kolar at TE. Kolar would be the inline guy while Id like Trigg and Jordan as the move guys. But Bentley could certainly be Kolar's backup if not allow for more 12 formations.

Damn, Jacob Rodriguez is making himself some serious coin out there! I still have pick 59 earmarked for Josiah Trotter but Im not sure Rodriguez would last that long anyhow,

Well, our OC relies on Tank to block. If we are counting on the OC to evolve, much less adapt, I'm starting to think the issue is us, not him. He keeps telling us who he is.

Nah, look at his tackling ability and the ability to diagnose.
