If frustration with inflation carried Trump back to the White House, frustration with high prices haunted his first year and will be pivotal
in Nov 2026’s midterm elections.

Trump has himself to blame.

His campaign promised (implausibly) to rapidly restore affordability. Instead, a steady stream of headlines about tariffs pushing some prices higher has soured most Americans on Trump’s ability to tame cost-of-living pressures. When the Supreme Court struck down much of the administration’s global tariffs in February, the White House responded by promising to replace them using other legal tools.

 

All I know is that whoever Trump endorses would never get my vote. The last thing we need is mini orange men in office.

 

Trump 2.0 White House 'circulating' 17-page executive order draft to declare emergency over voting

“Pro-Trump activists who say they are in coordination with the White House are circulating a 17-page draft executive order that claims China interfered in the 2020 election as a basis to declare a national emergency that would unlock extraordinary presidential power over voting,”

Claiming there is an emergency would allow the president to ban voting by mail and voting machines.

Trump has repeatedly urged Republicans to pass the SAVE Act, which critics say could disenfranchise millions of American citizens who do not currently have a passport or access to their birth certificates. It could also disenfranchise people who have married and changed their names but did not do so on all their legal documents.

“Trump has said that if the bill fails, he will act unilaterally to impose the changes for the midterms,” WaPo reported.​

Does this demented dumbass not know he was president in 2020? So China interfered in the 2020 election under his watch, and was so effective that Biden beat his ass by like 8 million votes?

And because of what China did in 2020, that’s grounds for claiming an emergency for the 2026 election?

So what happened in 2022 and 2024? China decided to sit those out?
