Skip Bayless in 2026

I speak on behalf of the rest of the community on Clutchfans when I say, "WHO THE **** CARES!!!?"

 

Skip was a good newspaperman. Not so much anything else.

I do like his brother's cookbooks though.

I liked Skip back in the day when there was Mike and Mike but there all soulless characters now and their shows are clones of one another............I used to live on ESPN and now I don't even care about them nor do I watch...................his Bro is an awesome CHEF though

He had the same schtick then: say a bunch of outrageous stuff to get attention.

 

I don’t watch any of those talking heads any longer. I used to like watching the sports reporters back in the day. But, the stuff that’s on now is pretty much unwatchable. I generally preferred the old sportswriters over the ex athletes they have now. Nowadays when I’m flipping the channels I just hear a bunch of loud talking and quickly move on.

 

No one is seeking out Skip Bayless, that's the problem. When he was on FS1, he was there, he was polarizing, he was entertaining, but most importantly, convenient to listen to.

It takes effort to seek out a Skip Bayless podcast nowadays, people don't like him enough for that.

 

I used to love PIT, but now I dont watch any of them..................Sports Reporters was on (I believe) Sunday am and it was awesome, the old Roy Firestone interviews were good to.

Now, ESPN is pure schtick...............I simply don't watch any of it now a days
