The offense just looks so much better it doesn’t matter if our defense is slightly worse. Back to having fun wins again.
If he can do that, we'll win the chip this year. Unfortunately he's not there yet defensively. They'll hunt him in the playoffs, making him unplayable especially in the crunch time
I feel like this is over blown. Teams have been hunting him when he’s on the court all year. But the player you see now is totally different than early on. He use to gamble so much and leave team out to dry. And he got bullied now you actually see him absorbing contact and still making good contests. He’s getting a lot more stops. As long as he’s hitting his threes there is really no reason to take him off the court.
It's time. The delicious gravy on top is the marketing bonanza for Tilman -- it's as juicy as luxury tax savings!
I would rather say "Rockets is better when Amen is not forced to play the PG position". Amen is a good and rare player, but he is definitely not a long-term solution for our PG position, don't understand why there are still fans insisting on him playing PG.
Udoka benches players when they are doing well so I don’t have any faith in Reed getting important minutes the rest of the reason or the playoffs.
He should never go to the bench again. Tari or Amen should come off the bench. Of course we have an offensively challenged coach so that will never happen.
I think Reed might be the worst defensive player in the league who is a bonehead turnover machine and I’ve consistently said yes. He needs to start. The Rockets offense just cannot be successful with Sengun bringing the ball up and him and Durant messing around at the top of the key for the first 15 seconds of the shot clock. You need that other offensive shooting threat bringing the ball up, and you need Sengun and KD in their spots earlier in the shot clock. It doesn’t have to be Reed starting but you need someone who can do what he does offensively which usually comes from someone listed as a point guard. That being said the game last night was vs the absolute trash Kings so you would be a moron to make any conclusions based on that game. Those type of games has to drive Adam Silver nuts.
Reed needs a system to run. The problem is systemic and his main skill set isn’t being able to be used at its true potential.
