Rockets Legend Jalen Green, currently at -25

Honestly, as annoying as this season has been at times, and despite some of the drama involving KD, Jalen's up-and-down shooting is one thing that I don't miss at all.

I've always been a Jalen fan, and I sincerely hope he does well, but between the injuries and the absolutely awful shooting these last few games, I can't imagine Suns fans being very happy with how he's doing so far.

I also don't have to try and defend his games either, which is nice. I still think he can be a really good player, though! Just seems extremely unlikely this season due to the factors I mentioned above.

 

He's still ramping up from injury and will get back on track.

 

You really need to move on from Jalen Green.

 

9th game back from a pretty severe hamstring injury and asked to be the #1 option with this less than inspiring lineup. not sure this is a massive "victory lap" but go off I suppose. I'll still root for Jalen.

 

Plus he's only 19.

 

In one month he will have a ‘if you look at his last 7 games’ performance.

 

Even on his worst day, even Aaron Holiday would shoot better than 5-18. Back-to-back-to-back 6-26, 6-16, and 5-18 shooting nights is pretty putrid by any standard.

 

Then go watch the suns then bozo.

 

I totally understood trading Jalen for KD. Even if you like Jalen, there's no room for his attempts and KD's on the same team. KD replaced long-horizon inefficient high-volume scoring with short-horizon very efficient high-volume scoring.

But I hated having to include Brooks. And in the time since we did it, the difference shows. We lost that edge.

 

Rockets got too many issues for me to be caring or gloating about Jalen’s struggles in PHX

don’t tell me I’m in a world where we traded Jalen for a major upgrade and are still a 1st round exit

 

Turns out Dillon Brooks and Fred VanVleet were pretty important players for us last season

 

Quick, 5 years in, he looks exactly like he did in his rookie season.

What excuse can we use today to justify how garbage he is?

 

Actually above average for Jalen's standard though.

But but but we made a mistake with the KD trade

 

Its amazing to me how many people think NBA Players should hit the ground running w/o Training Camp and missing over half of the year.

You can tell from their comments WHO HAVE PLAYED SPORTS AND WHO HAVEN'T

It takes at a minimum of 1 - 2 mos to catchup.

 

It takes a minimum of 7 years for Jalen to catch up

 

Well people said the same things about Chauncey Billups, Zubac and Jimmy Butler, remember?
