Kenneth Walker and Breece Hall are the big names but I am really hoping the Texans bring in Tyler Allgeier. He's flown a bit under the radar playing behinf Bijan Robinson in ATL but I think he could form a potent combo with Marks. I think the best way forward is to have a potent running game to make things easier for CJ and Allgeier, Marks and a rookie to soak up a carry or three a game along with an improved OL I think does that well (and cost effectively)
I just heard Nick say he thought our offensive line played pretty good last season. I’ve grown tired of Nick. Almost everyone has us ranked in the bottom 5.
He is also an injury risk. You need a 1B RB that is not currently on the roster to keep him fresh and healthy.
Walker is a hell of a RB, what little I do know of him he isn't very good as a receiver out of the backfield and he isn't that great at picking up the blitz which Woody is bad ass at that...........this is tough, he is the SB MVP and had a great year. Whoever gets him will pay a premium price due to the recent bias of being the SB MVP. Is he a fit here, I don't know but it's fun to play the what if game Bottom line is we need a bell cow as RB1 for this offense to shine, I wish we had a definitive answer on Joe Mixon, if he is back then move onto other positions, but the whole MIA thing is worrisome at best, I "assume" he wont be back but who the F knows
You're underrating Walker, he's a good receiver. I'm not sure about his pass pro because he didn't play much on 3rd down. Walker is a stud but they need to draft another RB in addition to Marks.
Philadelphia being at 23% on this list is the reason this team needs to not go heavy in on paying a top tier RB, but instead fix the Oline. If Saquon Barkley is still getting stonewalled at the line when his guys can't block, then no single RB is going to save our run game. Worry about upgrading C and guard and keep spending on RB in the mid range. If we fix the Oline issues then we can go after a bigger name RB next offseason.
He did not play much on 3rd down because Seattle thought he was bad at pass protection. The was one of the biggest reasons Charbonnet had so much playing time, and Walker still was not asked to pass block after ZC's injury. He was used more as a decoy or check down option.
