Who cares, neither Amen or Reed or anyone we could acquire with our pile of picks can ever fill Fred's shoes. With any other team Reed would be averaging 20+ PPG. But my supposition is that the Rockets are trying to ingrain in him defensive tendencies that should be second nature after the training is done. Count me in on the people that get frustrated than Reed gets pulled when the team is operating like a well oiled machine. I wonder if he gives cues the coaches pick up that he is tiring out? One thing is certain, Reeds defense has increased exponentially since last year. He still not a great defender, but he’s at least playing NBA defense where it’s not a glaring hole. However, it seems that as he gets tired the matador defense rears its face again.
