You give someone enough hush money, of course the charges go away. Replace the white guy in this gif with KPJ:
Please prove it, you weren't there, you have no idea - I wasn't there, I believe the people that were actually there over randos on the internet, who never liked him to begin with. He matured, just as I said he would, and has become the player I thought he would be......and we cut him before the results were known about the case. Just another stupid move by this org, IMHO. DD
You thought he could *one day* be: a guy who could average 17-7 on 46/32/85 shooting splits for a bad team, the Bucks; way back in 2023, when he was *merely* a 19-6 guy on 44/36/78 on a bad team, the Rockets? Damn, that's freaky bro. Please take over my kalshi account
His skillset is what is missing on this Rockets team. That year you referenced was on a SILAS epically bad team, not the same as the Bucks who are much better than that team was. DD
He was right in seeing the talent, but so wrong in how he handled it. Stone created the nice guy steve, 0 vet roster, keys to the franchise/head honcho environment that allowed KPJ's problems to fester.
What skill set is that? This is the part where you say something and then I show you how he's in the bottom percentile in the league in all of those things
The Rockets are not the Spurs, the Spurs did what they had to do with Joshua Primo. Get with the program or get lost.......nobody is above the Program. Not even Kawhi. The Bucks are desperate to keep Antetokounmpo but I am afraid it is still not enough short term.
[ The thing I don't understand is why anybody is going to Pam Bondi for KPJ like @DaDakota over his Epstein files? I mean - KPJ was at best a replacement player on a horrible Rockets tanking team, and is largely at or around that same level today. More importantly - he was thoroughly unenjoyable to watch! Pounds the air out of the ball like Kobe Bryant but with Kobe Bufkin level of ability. And the Rockets instantly improved both aesthetically and record wise as soon as he was replaced with FVV (whom DD absolutely hates) I mean to some degree I get DD going all in on a player like Spanoulis (back when the undiscovered Euro was a thing) or even a scrap heap find like Von Wafer - but KPJ ? Guywas miserable to watch and have on your team. I don't get it
He wants to be seen as consistent to the deep end, whatever that be for him...... It is too easy to root for a model citizen named SGA, he has to pick and choose those jail birds, punks, marginal players. He goes on to have a beer and think about them.
Or, I like players that can both create for themselves and others. KPJs skill with the handle and passing would be useful here, and he is better than Jalen always has been. Also, I find it hilarious that folks can't see it, or don't want to see it. DD
You’re being a bit delusional, KPJ is having a great season. His efficiency is at .576 TS Assists 7.6 w A/TO ratio at 2.50 Steals 2.2 per 3.9 made FTs per These are all career highs, his efficiency is now solid, he’s averaging 8.2 assists per 36 which is great, 2.7 stocks to only 2.2 fouls per game If KPJ had more games played this season, he’d rank #6 in assists per, #1 in steals per .120 WS, positive 1+ bpm on both offensive and defense, 1.2 vorp KPJ is looking like a competent 2-way PG who can also give you some scoring. This season has been a huge jump, he is not the player who was inefficient/ineffective across the board like his first few years in Houston
MMm nooo he is the same player. The problem with KPJ is that you look at the Box score stats and you say "oh he's a productive player" Buddy, that productivity comes with a 25%+ usage rate! That is basically the same as Kevin Durant or Alperen Sengun! His turnovers are as much as theirs. And that comes from him absolutely dominating the ball: There's only a hanful of players in the NBA who are averaging over 5 seconds per touch. These are the ball-stoppers. These break down into 2 groups in terms of how good they are: SGA Luka Jamal Murray Jalen Brunson James Harden Kevin Porter Jr Cole Anthony Isiah Collier Tell me that KPJ belongs int eh first group! The funny thing is that this stat absolutely tracks with my KPJ watchign experience. Rockets have the ball? Great, fast foward 10 seconds on league pass because no play is going to start until 14 or less on the shot clock. That is the biggest problem with the current Rockets so it's a joke to see people like @DaDakota saying he's "exactly what this team lacks" - unless you're talking about making the ball so sticky and the vibes so rancid that we can all take the rest of the season off.
His ability to handle under pressure and not turn it over is what I am referencing, we don't have that on this team. DD
You invoked stats by claiming you can show he's in the bottom percentile for any skill he has, thats objectively false and you can't defend that, so you switched to the focus on USG and seconds per touch to try to explain why "yeah all of his stats looks pretty good but actually". Okay, if you're happy with that argument I'll let it be.
KPJ and "Ryan Rollins" are competing to see who "is the best of a bad Bucks backcourt". Cam Thomas - another notorious loser has joined the fun as well. No wonder Giannis wants out of town.
I can safely say he's among the worst high usage lead guards in the league. I will post the stats later, and he will be bottom percentile. The guy shoots 33% from 3! That sucks! If FVV did that you'd go insane. Anyway - same question to you as to @DaDakota - why do you like this guy? Seems like a jackass AND he's pretty mediocre on the court AND he's unfun to watch?
