Are you suggesting GAHT has zero bearing on the recent uptick in trans violence?

 

I think that we have a long way to go before we can draw a straight line from GAHT to mass shootings.

It sounds like some sort of threat, which I am totally against — as are most people who are against anti-trans bigotry. I have no issue with you criticizing such people who’d make such threats. It’s the generalization I’m opposed to.

What is your proof that the title of the article was altered? Even assuming that the purposely provocative social media post was a title that the author came up with (generally it is not), the social media post itself is not threatening violence. That is your interpretation of what it’s implying conservatives like you should be fearful of. Regardless, if it’s a topic you actually care about and are serious about, then you should read the article and respond to its contents. Not what you imagining the implication is from a social media post that the author likely had nothing to do with.

I’m sorry — why should I “take accountability” for others — not the author of the article or even whoever came up with that ambiguous headline — threatening violence? How am I accountable for such people?

Also, I do not put much trust in “Libs of TikTok” social media posts. A cached copy of their webpage that shows that headline would be more convincing.
