Na, Go Rockets. I hope you’re right. I think it’s optimistic, many would say it’s the correct way to fan. League is good. If you happen to be wrong and Jabari is more of a 6th best player on a championship team..that means the Rockets don’t win any championships.
I think 2 years away is ok. We are screwed this year and next. No way Tito cuts the cord with Ime before he flames out next year. Jabari and Amen are studs and are going to be fine. I’m much more concerned with Alpi. I hope he proves me wrong, but I just don’t see the fire. We can/should get a load for hm in a trade. Think Gobert type return.
I was going to comment on that. Good job. The trajectory is definitely better. I’m wondering why? Amen needs to take notice even on his free throws which are super flat.
I’ve been saying since year two (pre-Durant of course) that he should be getting 10-15 touches a game from his spots. But he’s such a ball stopper I don’t think he would kick it back out if the shot wasn’t there.
Yup, definitely noticed it. Pretty good looking shot. Hopefully he can keep it up the rest of the season
Hell naw! Jabari dribbles like a YMCA player. The gravity of KD and Sengun is what makes him thrive...about damn time Jabari can make an open shot! I like that his trade value is increasing!
Lol, Jabari can't create his own shot! All of his looks are coming from open shots created by KD, Sengun, Amen, and even Reed...
I don’t really understand why Jabari is the butt of so many jokes (even prior to the KD files). Jabari is good. He fits in any lineup. He can shoot. He rebounds and brings real supplemental rim protection now. He’s big, versatile, and makes very few defensive mistakes. Impact metrics are positive now. He’s durable. He’s signed until 2031 for only ~12% of the cap. He’s 22. Defensively versatile and solid big wing third/fourth option shooters who have no peripheral weaknesses but don’t dribble or create for themselves… are a valuable archetype. Taking contract into account, I would not be shocked if one year from now he’s the third or fourth highest value asset from that draft class.
So did Klay Thompson but he was a very good 2nd Option. He was simply a SPOT UP SHOOTER. Jabari is coming on and he needs more shots.
