How about trying to coach 'em up on the Princeton offense? We need to get shots off instead of dribbling out the shot clock or into turnovers. Right now, like the Rockets, it's a bunch of guys standing around and watching the iso ball fiasco.
The one sort of positive about all these losses is we won’t be so heartbroken if/when they lose in the tournament. No/low expectations. Maybe they can be one of these teams that gets hot in March and goes on a magical run. It would be nice to be on the other side of one of those games you shouldn’t win (like NC State).
I'm going to dig deep into my back and find a new song to listen to while i watch these games. I've been watching them raw with just fran fraschilla whispering sweet nothings into my ear but that aint cutting it anymore. Gotta lock in.
They've basically played tournament basketball the last few games. Hopefully it's good practice for March. I would absolutely never count a Kelvin Sampson coached team out. They're going to be right there in it when it really matters.
This Cougar team lacks a leader. I think it was supposed to be Uzan but he is not Jamal Shead/Marcus Sasser/Jwan Roberts.
This three-game losing streak was extra painful because Fran was on the broadcast for all three losses. Hate losing in front of Fran, a big UH believer since before the deep tournament runs. Hate to disappoint Franny.
It's game time again. Honestly, I have lost confidence in the team after the disastrous streak of losses. They are not who I thought they were. Admittedly, the schedule was brutal. The Arizona game was the most surprising. I don't think they are a legit contender, but I would love to be surprised.
The first game against Iowa State was a brutal loss and they couldn't recover. Arizona is a good team but not unbeatable and so is Kansas. UH just need to get their mojo back....TOUGHNESS
They can beat any good team in the country and they can lose to any good team in the country. UH is like a box of chocolates...
Meh hard to get excited beating a scrub team after losing 3 in a row against ranked teams. They got tested and failed.
Uzan has struggled because his role changed. At least he’s had a few great games including today. Tugler has been sorry all year, same role as last year.
