I suspect the directive was more to keep the ball moving and make quick decisions, and this is the result when a team with Kevin Durant + work-in-progress playmakers and no true, established "point guard" plays like that. Honestly, they obviously can't play this sloppy against a better defense and expect it to work like it did last night, but I found it much easier to watch than our typical stilted offense where we hand it to KD or Alpi up top and let them dribble for 15 seconds.

The Cutting is more insane as it implies cutting someone from life itself.....washing is just washing, it does not have the same religious meaning as for instance baptism......and it only goes for the 1st Day......your Wealth is washed away is not really threatening. The first New Year|s day is really important, the rest of the week is jus Chinese having a lazy time. KD is stuffed filthy or squeaky clean, either way.
Maybe a fight did break out in the locker room between Bari and KD. Bari always plays well after a fight. This could be the ultimate fight that breaks him out.
