Yet another example of far left liberal racism - a man yelled out the N word while 2 black actors were on stage presenting an award. He blamed it on having Tourette's syndrome - an uncontrollable urge to yell out vocal tics. That disease was the only reason he was invited - in the name of inclusivity.

The real question is - why did he use the n word? Of all the cuss words, he could have used f***, s***, but somehow, as we always see with liberals at ice protests, he directed a racial slur towards a minority. Is this Tourette's or just a shitty person? Should being part of an oppressed group make you immune from accountability?

Comedians write the wildest parodies - like the South Park macho man randy Savage men in sports skit.

And it gives the left inspiration to actually do those things.

That is mental illness in a nutshell.

Your thread titles admits you don’t know anything about Tourettes but you sure don’t mind taking a swing thinking you can take a swipe at liberals.

Go do your homework on Tourettes and then come back to discuss. Because otherwise it would be like arguing with a horses a$$hole.

What I want to know is, why was this guy, who was only invited because he did a documentary about living with Tourettes Syndrome, ever allowed to live in the first place???

Seriously, why do we allow weakness to just fester?!

Mental disease... pffft! I say BOOM, blow their heads off!!!

Cancer people and their hairless heads... f*ck, who wants to look at that ****???

And the elderly... don't just let 'em slowly rot and take all the best parking spots, wipe 'em out. All of 'em! Start with the wastecases in nursing homes, then those with "special needs" (like there's anything special about them). Then move on to fat people, short people, people that wear glasses, and anyone different. Let ICE use 'em for target practice. Put 'em in camps... whatever it takes!!!

its kind of like that sensation you probably get when you keep shoving dick in your mouth

Just revert to your flashbacks of shoving it in and out, I'm not sure we can help you outside of that

Tourettes causes people to have repeated, involuntary movements and sounds called tics.

It doesn't mean they specifically use the most derogatory words based on the people they are in contact with.

Why would he specifically use that curse word out of all the curse words available? What made his mind go there?

Love seeing all the liberals have a meltdown when the thought of accountability is introduced. But these are the same people who said let's also have empathy for the pedophiles-- they can't control themselves around children.

    It never ends

That was I'M A BIRD my introduction to Tourettes Syndrome. Totally cool guy, he just had no con KING trol over certain things.

Trump literally said this week that he felt sorry for Prince Andrew's for getting arrested related to Epstein and wished his Doj moved on from the files lol. It's democrats that have empathy for pedophiles while your cult leader is literally crying over others being arrested?

You are sincerely one dumb mother ****er

Tourette's with coprolalia makes people yell out derogatory or obscene language. Obviously, that is context dependent. There is nothing inherently offensive about some combination of sounds formed into a word, whether something is derogatory or obscene is informed by culture, setting, circumstance, even the identity of the speaker (think rappers using the N-word vs. white cooking show hosts). Thus, people with Tourette's with coprolalia are going to blurt out things which are derogatory or obscene in the context of their current situation. They wouldn't shout curse words in a language they don't understand; they shout things that they know are inappropriate in the current situation, and they have no control over what it is they are shouting. Anyone that is offended by their involuntary vocalizations should grow a thicker skin and STFU.

Again... your couldn't tell me you know nothing about Tourettes more clearly if you tried, and you couldn't clearly look like more of a hack if you tried. DEI, Woke, blah blah... none of that applies anywhere here. Again... he has Tourettes... nobody is trying to make this incident an indictment of MAGA, or trying to leverage this as a weapon against white men or whatever you would love to believe in your fantasy world.

50 years ago, people with Tourettes would have likely just been locked up in a psych ward because people didn't understand the neurological disorder, and didn't understand how to treat it.

Nowadays... other than this ignorant poster...there is much greater awareness in the public, and it's great that someone who has tourettes can go to the grocery store or something with family, and if they start ticking really bad, yelling obscenities, etc. most people understand how ticks work, and can clearly understand that its tourettes, and just smile.

Usually too the family or friends of that person will be with them to help signal to people that their friend has Tourettes, and the obscenities, or flicking off, etc. is not meant to be harmful, etc.

Also the ticks usually come with a flicking of the neck which is why many with this condition have to wear a neck brace often like a guy I knew from high school who had it.

So I think Michael B Jordan, and Delroy Lindo are totally fine. They are likely educated about it like most people are nowadays, and understand it was not someone intending to harm them. The moral question for me is really about the friends and family of the guy with Tourettes. Where do you draw the line on holding them out of the public when their ticks are heightened, and where do you draw the line.

Usually the ticks come at higher stress moments, and the more calm a situation, the more under control they are. So it's a caretaker's balance, and judgement. Because an award show is a situation that is so stressful, and abnormal for someone with tourettes that it's a recipe for a really bad episode. IMO, I think they will look back in hindsight, and would have called it a night earlier in the night for sure.

    Because he has Tourettes Syndrome.....

Damn, dude. I actually respected your posts - even though I don't agree with most of them - because you seemed a little more intelligent that the boring predictable Trump trolls all over this forum. But this thread is moronic and frankly, pretty disappointing. I guess I was wrong about you.

The show was broadcast on a 2 hour delay. In that delay, they were able to edit out Akinola Davies Jr saying, "To those watching at home, archive your loved ones, archive your stories yesterday, today and forever. For Nigeria, for London, Congo, Sudan, Free Palestine." But, they couldn't edit out racial slurs from the gallery?

BBC criticised for nixing ‘Free Palestine’ tribute from BAFTA coverage | Israel-Palestine conflict News | Al Jazeera

I suppose that's the bit of wokism in this event that rubs me the wrong way. They decided that the genocide in Gaza was too political to allow anyone to express an opinion about on their platform. But, they are so committed to raising awareness for Tourette's that they would intentionally broadcast racial slurs so that the viewers at home can also exercise their understanding and compassion for people with this disease, nevermind all the hurtful baggage that comes with these particular slurs. So they picked their DEI hobby horse to promote and turn their backs on others.
