There are not enough basketball people in the building.

Just slick-talking lawyers and corporate dumb-dumbs

I generally disagree with trading away FRP’s but With Ime’s ineptness at playing/trusitng/developing young raw talent, I’m not against it.

I said last year that I was kind of suspect about Ime’s ability to develop our youth core. Now in addition tiniest, I’m jsut doubtful about his ability to help build a contender. Even when we were a .700 team earlier j the desk I was down inthe team and how there ere winning. I just didn’t like it. Depending on offensive rebounds in a 90’s style Offense just didn’t seem sustainable enough to get us to playing basketball in late May. Especially without a floor general aka real pg

I said it last season and now in hindsight I say it now. Reed should have spent last season with the Vipers honing his point guard skills. He needs work on his ball handling, decision making, and just gaining confidence running the offense. A year in the G league would have helped. Oh well.

Man, this post gets me so depressed.

I was so hyped up last season seeing the progress of the team. I knew Udoka wasn't a good offensive coach. I thought what he was doing was changing the defensive mindset which was fine. I thought after the defense had turned around, he'd at least TRY to pay more attention to offense. Nope. He has zero appetite for offense. He seems unable to even process the simple logic that you need 3pt shooters to score 3 points in 2 seconds and grind it out offensive rebounding is absolutely USELESS for that particular situation.

That's just so infuriating. And last game's meltdown and his blaming Amen and Reed in the postgame was just cherry on top.

The entire game plan is big, switchable wings everywhere to grind the other team down. That's how you get Amen playing PG, Tari playing SG, and DFS playing at all. It's a stupid, stupid plan that happens to be ugly too. It's a fantasy that's been propped up by Kevin Durant - if he's not playing 38+ minutes and scoring 30+ points then we have no chance.

Well, ahem, get Screaming Stephen A. Smith to say something good about Reed Shepherd, then.
"Reed Sheh-pahd! Who's your daddy? What....are you DOIN'....tied to the bench, my brother?"

I don't know why but when I watch Sheppard play, I see Stockton. Not in the I hate the Jazz and Stockton kind of way, but the, man, that's a damn crafty ball player kind of way.

No, Stockton was a mean, dirty player. All business, a killer. Reed not that, unfortunately.

Stockton didn't just play point guard; he defined its "statutes". He is frequently cited as the quintessential example of how the position should be played—prioritizing playmaking, precision passing, and elite perimeter defense over individual scoring.
He led the league in assists for nine consecutive seasons (1988–1996), effectively setting the "legal standard" for what an elite floor general must produce.
He holds the all-time NBA records for both assists (15,806) and steals (3,265). These numbers are so far ahead of anyone else that they act like a permanent constitutional amendment to the record books that may never be "repealed" or broken.

Adleman would be amazing with Alpi! I doubt he wants to coach again being close to 80. Malone is the obvious choice and knows how to coach a team with a big man like Alpi.

Really? What did he say. I don’t remember Amen or Reed messing up anywhere near as much as DFS and a couple of others that shall not be named lol

He didn’t change nothing about Jalen’s game. His game was the same as it was under Silas. The overall team y got better
