Amen and Reed are not the culprits on 4th quarter turnovers. Sengun and Durant are. Every team knows that the Rockets are going to get the ball across the half court lane and force it to KD or Sengun. It’s not that Amen and Reed can’t handle the ball, they are the 2 best on the team at handling it.

It is the offensive set and Durant’s and Sengun’s inability to handle double teams and Ime’s instructions to get the ball to Durant as soon as you can. Durant is a weak passer and does not screen his man away from the ball and makes a bad target. Sengun’s and Durant’s turnovers almost always lead to transition buckets because of the lack of spacing where they are receiving the ball. In the 3rd and 4th quarters this year Durant and Sengun have 158 turnovers, Amen and Reed have 91. Durant leads the way by far with 84. Sengun with 74. Amen with 63, and Reed with 28. Touches do have something to do with it, but I would contend that many of Amen’s and Reed’s turnovers are attributable to forcing the ball to Durant and Sengun not by their handles.

Rockets have the 6th worst net rating in the entire NBA during clutch time at -8.8

our offense is 22nd, and our defense is 24th…last year our offense was 18th, but our defense was 9th in clutch time

our turnover percentage is 29th in the NBA…last year it was still bad at 18th, but that’s still much better than 29th

with Ime, KD, and Sengun…it doesn’t look good

Suns were the worst 4th quarter team in the league during the 2023-24 season with KD…they had the worst point differential in the 4th quarter out of all 30 teams

and that’s because all KD wants to do is stand in the mid-post and take a bunch of highly contested shots or try to dribble through defenders and turn it over

we know Ime ain’t drawing nothing but stick figures in the huddle and saying to get the ball to Durant

and 2x All-Star/franchise player Sengun is currently rocking 41/0/54 shooting splits in the clutch because he can’t shoot from the outside, doesn’t hit free throws, and smokes every layup

All I'm going to say is, somebody needs to lead this team! It's definitely not Udoka, or any of these other bus riders playing. Somebody step up and be vocal. The person with the most respect. That's all, carry on.

Feel like Dillon or FVV was the voice last year. These young boys (Charles Barkley voice) don’t have that in them and Durant will tweet his feelings.

It definitely was either of those 2. Now we have a bunch of introverts who probably were the last people to present their presentations at school. Thats why I was all about getting CP3. That stuff he did on the Clippers this year, is what we needed here.

So like... some respected hoops-heads have looked objectively at the 4th quarter shambles and have wondered why Twin hasn't been been ID'd for post-up opportunities when he typically has a smaller defender on him; could those stick figures Ime's doodling grab the pencil from him and draw up 2 Amen post-ups for every diminishing-percentage contested 2 that KD is hoisting up in the half-court set?

Are we absolutely 100% certain he isn't rigging games?
