Just saw this posted in Houston media.

so glad this city is turning on this fraud. The national stage is in awe of what the rockets call “offense”

maybe this will be good in the long run. I’m sure Fat teeta won’t take kindly to being the punchline publically.

What lead counts in this stat? Double digits is the minimum I'd count as a "blown lead" especially in today's NBA.

I’m fully supportive of getting rid of Ime. Also, I’m glad we moved on from Jalen. Durant should have some trade value provided we didn’t give him a no trade clause.

Never noticed it last year but this year blown 4th quarters are our calling card

Sounds like Celtics under Ime may have had the same problem, you have to keep scoring to win games in the nba. It was always a must but with the recent changes in the rules it’s become even more important .

And now he’s blaming amen and Reed…who weren’t allowed to dictate the offense when it collapsed (Reed who wasn’t even in the game thanks to this moron) and when they were they did a really good job

This guy is the biggest POS in Houston sports history

yeah the blame game isn't winning him anything. the offense is meant to dump it off to a Durant or Sengun ISO like 50 possessions per game.

that's not running offense, no matter who does it. prime stockton could walk through the door, if he's meant to dump it off and stand to the side how does that change KD dribbling off his own knee 14 times a game? how does that change AS bulldozing his way into the paint just to rush up a floater?

Amen, Reed run the ball down and deferred just like he tells them to do. Knicks loss is 100% on KD for calling his own number always, throwing up bricks and turning the ball over. How, I say HOW can you put it on Amen, Reed when the guy received the ball? That's the job? Job was done. KD's arch nemesis defender (his own kneecaps) was there to put the game away in clutch time.

I think we'll get these collapses out of our system by the playoffs. Shout-out to Amen and Tari for defense and incredible rebounds.

Still, last night was awful to watch and I think blame is shared. Ime was outcoached in the 4th ... Adjustments were poor and No Way Jose was the spark that lit us up...he ignited that final run, and Brunson topped it off with all of his flops. And, despite how unappreciated he is, this was a game where JOSH would have made the difference. We needed to match the hustle of NY's run and , yet again, JO is rotting in the bench when he has proven to be one of our higher IQ, 3-d players. (If it were me, Josh would be getting DFFs minutes until he actually has a legitimately good game. He's still healing and is a step slow).

I was equally baffled by Jabari 's last shot when we could have set something up between KD and Alpi. It wasn't the worst shot, but for clock management, it was not his best moment. In his defense, he played really well and was hitting his shots. Again, it comes down to reading the room and remembering that you have one of the best closers in NBA history right next to you...ugh. As for Kevin, his turnovers were awful. Although he flopped like a Stockton-Hornacek combo meal, KD should have thrown the ball for an easy 'oop to Amen instead of risking fat head's oscar-worthy gyrations from being breathed on.

One major, simple readjustment is Alpi posting up on the block. The block or 2-3 steps out. I despise the times where he plays like Jaren Jackson Jr. and sets up from the 3 and tries to go one on one. He can certainly be successful in those moments, but the amount of energy he exerts is unnecessary and does not complement his strengths.

When Alpi sets up closer, our spacing is so much better and allows Amen,Bari and Tari to cut or hit the corners. He seems to have gone further away from the rim this season, and some of that makes sense when he and KD run a simple PNR.

Alpi is screening way too weakly. I don't know why that's happened, but it doesn't allow KD to get the cleanest shot off. Aside from Amen, Bari (and Reed at times) sets the strongest picks for KD to get free.

Our team will be fine. Growing pains and a mixture of youth, vets/champions and injuries.

I'm letting this one go...I don't have to see Fat Head Flopping Brunson often and Denver lost to a beat up Warriors team. It's always nice when Denver loses in my house.

Much love to all Rockets fans.

The Celtics did indeed have the same problem when Ime coached there, for the same exact reason: They would start watching the clock with somewhere between 5-9 mins left, depending how big the lead was. Instead of immediately running offense and continuing to do what was working, they cared more about not shooting unless the clock was close to running out. There is no denying Ime is clearly the problem.

Why it continues just blows my mind. That it still happens makes me believe it is very unlikely they will fix it this season (or maybe ever with Ime as coach).

Every time I see KD dribbling the clock shot down to 10 seconds while 25+ feet away from the basket in the 4th quarter before trying to attack, I want to scream.

I wonder how that compares to other coaches and teams? 40 sounds bad, but is it?

In order to blow a lead, you have to have a lead in the first place. Bad teams probably don’t blow many leads because they are usually trailing. The better than average, but not great teams probably blow the most games.

Best thing that ever happened to the Celtics was Ime getting fired. They look more like a contender THIS YEAR than the Rockets, and one of their main rotation players (Pritchard) Ime hardly ever played.
