Of course Mixon says this now because if he doesn't return, nobody will remember and if he does, he can say "I told you so!" He is so full of it.

Caserio will do what's best for the team instead of Mixon, which means they'll probably cut him. I bet he has too much pride to accept a lower figure that reflects his actual worth.

lol peep the date (May 15, 2025)

never to be heard from again

May 28: Several veterans not at #Texans voluntary OTA, including Joe Mixon, who's been in walking boot recently for injury sources call minor

This phrase sure reminds me of someone....

He said it was a medical condition, and that he’s never seen anything like it.

I'll simply say there is a discrepancy in his listing as injured if this is an illness. It's either intentional, unintentional or a case where both are true. Each carries it's own suspicions and likely consequences.

I’m still taking a RB in round 2 they need to make this run game the staple of the offense

    I wouldn't have a problem with a White/Price/Marks RB corps. Although I prefer Allgeier.

Agreed, a legit franchise RB or a Franchise QB can elevate a mid tier offense into an oxymoron of pyrite gold (24 karat production).

    Mixon was that good!!!

I was hugely impressed by Mixon, but if he can’t go, the Texans must move on. Nevertheless, kudos to Mixon for giving the Texans one good year of protection.
